How health & wellness experts are ending the overload — what to stop, what to hand off, and how to get your week back with Eléa Faucheron
DESCRIPTION:
Around four in five business owners say they feel overwhelmed. About a third will use the word burnout.
Overwhelm, isn’t coming from your talent…
It’s coming from what it takes to grow and run a business. Think back to this morning, before you did anything you’d call real work, and count the decisions you made about your business.
Most were made without business training, without data, and usually alone.
Alone is the important part. Around 84% of business owners say there’s stigma attached to admitting any of this. So everyone says things are good, and every one of them thinks they’re the only ones struggling to find clients, or manage the workload, or keep a hundred tasks a day organized.
You can spot depletion in a client within minutes. You teach people about self care…
And then you catch yourself getting less sleep than you know you need, still answering messages long after you meant to stop, and getting stuck in cycles of indecision…”what do I do next!?!”
And a voice says: I of all people should be able to manage this.
I want to take that off your shoulders…
The vast majority of owners I talk to are in the same place:
- They have a burning passion and poor systems foundation underneath it.
- They’re doing more, and unknowingly aiming most of that effort at the lowest-return places.
- They’ve never worked out which small slice of their activity produces nearly all their results. And they’re adding before they’ve subtracted.
It’s fixable, you can make it more manageable because it’s a design problem, not a character problem.
On November 19th we’ll work out what activities are costing you the most, what to stop, and what you can hand off without hiring anyone.
You’ll leave with three things on paper: what to stop doing, what to hand off, and the one thing worth your attention.
